Despite lack of sleep and memory loss (from lack of sleep), we (really Andy) have been cracking away at the kid's bedroom so we can get E and F moved in. We hired a guy to come and finish taping and sanding the drywall the week before the baby was born and he wrapped up the job in 2 days. Well worth the price. In the last 2 weeks, Andy has primed and painted the walls (Shadowed Dapple Gray from Walmart color matched in Glidden paint), trimmed the window, hung the ceiling fan, installed the new wall insert electric heater, and wrapped the exposed beams with reclaimed wood.
Andy will be posting later with more information on how he used old wood for the ceiling beams and hopefully by the end of the weekend, we will have an update with an almost finished room! Meanwhile, we are all happily enjoying our family of 5.
